Bodies. Bodies everywhere. Some of them were slumped at tables, some sprawled on the floor, and many were still lying in their beds as if the slightest sound would awaken them from their endless sleep.
That afternoon, we counted one hundred and seventeen bodies, both men and women, in that sleeping room.
